Jerome Schmidt:
Jerome and his wife Jamie have been attending Bible Baptist Church since 1993.  Jamie has been the pianist for the church since 1995 and has also taught a youth Sunday-school class.  Jerome has held various positions in the church including trustee, Sunday-school teacher, treasurer, and song leader.  Jerome began filling the pulpit as interim pastor in February 2024 and was voted in as full-time pastor in November 2024.  Jerome is in his second year of classes through The Bible Doctrine Institute (TBDI), but has put studies on hold for the time being.  Jamie graduated from TBDI with a Bachelor's degree on July 24, 2024.

Jerome and Jamie have 5 children and 2 grandchildren. Jerome also works full time as an electrical engineer.  Jerome's favorite Bible verse is Philippians 1:6, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” Jamie's favorite verses are Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
